Our work ranges from ecological surveys to providing management advice, Expert Witness Statements, to large, integrated projects which require collaboration from a range of disciplines.

We have worked on a wide range of development projects, including pipelines, road and rail infrastructure, mining, urban development, ski-fields, water impoundments and treatment plants, power plants, hydro schemes and wind farms.

Ecology Australia is also involved in a wide variety of research and monitoring programs on various aspects of plant and animal ecology, and threatened species, which have formed a fundamental aspect of our work over the years. Our expertise is also frequently sought for the preparation of management plans, habitat restoration, and ecological studies such as environmental flows studies, ecological fire management, weed mapping and management, and pest plant and animal management.

We have completed over 2000 projects, and our staff have published books, numerous reports and scientific papers.
